What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before taking Casodex? • Before taking this medication tell your doctor if you have liver disease or any other serious illness. You may not be able to take Casodex or you may require a lower dose or special monitoring if you have any of the conditions listed above. • Casodex is not indicated for use by women. Do not take this medication if you are pregnant or are planning a pregnancy. Casodex is in the FDA pregnancy category X. Antibiotic consumption per capita was already 23.3 per cent higher in Canada generally than in Quebec in 2004, the study showed. But in the year that followed publication of the guidelines, the number of outpatient antibiotic prescriptions in Quebec decreased 4.2 per cent, the study said, while increasing 6.5 per cent in other Canadian provinces. The trend persisted three years later.
